Designed for bathroom use, the Dimplex EF12 is a wall-mounted heater. This is to keep it away from the floor or the vanity countertop where it might be splashed with water or accidentally tripped. As an additional safety precaution, it is constructed in a way that drops of water splattered on it drip outside of the casing instead of seeping into its interior.
The heater normally operates on a power of 1,000 watts. However, if you want to quickly heat your bathroom, you can boost this to 2,000 but only up to a maximum of one hour. A timer will automatically revert the machine to the 1,000-watt output at the end of the set time. A built-in thermostat allows you to fine-tune the temperature levels inside the bathroom simply by rotating the thermostat dial.
